This policy explains how oliletriathlete.com (“the site”) and the Google API application “GSC Oli” (“the app”) handle information. The site and the app are run by Olivier Salmon (“I”, “me”).

Information the site collects
The site uses cookies for essential functions, analytics, and performance. Analytics and performance cookies are set only after you give consent. See the Cookie Policy for details. I do not sell personal information.
The GSC Oli app and Google user data
GSC Oli is a personal tool for my own use. I am its only user. It connects to my own Google account through Google OAuth.
What data the app accesses
The app requests read-only access to Google Search Console data (the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope). This covers search performance data for sites I own, such as queries, clicks, impressions, and page performance.
Why it accesses this data
I use it to analyse the search performance of my own websites and to answer questions about that performance.
How the data is used
The app retrieves the data through the Google API. It passes the data to Quantum Metric’s AI tooling through an API to produce analysis. The app and the tooling use the data only to produce that analysis for me.
Storage, sharing, and human access
- Storage: I do not store Google user data. The app processes it when I make a request and does not keep it afterwards.
- Sharing: I do not sell Google user data. I do not share it with third parties, apart from the AI tooling described above, which processes it only to return analysis to me.
- Advertising and AI training: I do not use Google user data for advertising, and I do not use it to train AI or machine learning models.
- Human access: Nobody other than me reads this data.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The app’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
I protect access to the app and its credentials with standard measures, including restricted access to my Google account and API credentials. Because I do not store Google user data, there is no stored copy to protect.
Revoking access and deleting data
You can revoke the app’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Because the app does not store Google user data, revoking access ends all use of it. To ask about any other data I hold, email me at the address above, and I will respond within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, in the UK or EU), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. Email me to exercise them.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If the app’s use of Google data changes, I will update this page before the change takes effect.
